The English School 

Provides low-cost, high quality English language instruction to non-native speakers of English in Mercer County.The English School offers 5 levels of English classes as well as individual and small group tutoring. ​​They also offer additional programs for preschoolers, students, and adults.

El Centro of Catholic Charities 

Is a program in partnership with the Pace Center for Civic Engagement that provides English classes for adults in Princeton and Trenton regardless of race, gender, or religious affiliation. El Centro: Trenton classes take place Monday through Friday from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton. El Centro: Campus classes take place at Princeton University on Friday mornings from 9:00-10:00 AM and Saturday afternoons from 2:00-3:30 PM. They offer both a beginner and an advanced class.

Nassau Christian Center’s 

English as a Second Language program reaches out to internationals in the Princeton community by providing ESL classes free of charge. The class meets during the academic year and includes beginner, intermediate, and advanced English, grammar, writing, reading, conversation and introduction to American culture. Princeton Public Library 

Offers free, walk-in English conversation classes. Classes are open to the public. The library also offers story time in a variety of languages, as well as many language learning materials and resources. Online programs are available through the library and include Mango Languages, Muzzy Languages, and Rosetta Stone.

Princeton YWCA 

Offers over 40 ESL classes to those with a variety of language abilities and backgrounds. Classes are available year-round with sessions starting in September, January and July. Short-term classes are also offered at various times during the year. All participants must be YWCA members.
