Mount Carmel Guild
Provides emergency food assistance to almost 8,000 families per year. They also supply food and gifts for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. This program is offered to families that do not earn enough to be able to afford basic necessities, such as food and housing. For services, hours and eligibility requirements click here.

Program (Food Stamps)
Will provide coupons for purchasing food only for Mercer County residents. A person is eligible depending on one’s income, housing, and other resources. Seniors cannot have more than $3,000 in liquid assets. Check the website provided for a chart of income eligibility. Princeton residents can apply at the Human Services Department located at 1 Monument Drive.

Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK)
A private organization that works with volunteers, churches, and businesses to provide assistance to low income families and individuals. TASK has also conducted a SERVING MEALS program located at the Princeton Site: Dinner is served Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Princeton United Methodist Church. They have programs such as serving meals, computer classes, adult tutoring, etc.
