Princeton and Montgomery Township are collaborating on a joint project to improve Cherry Valley Road from 300 feet

improvements will be constructed:

·         A 30-foot wide roadway to accommodate on-road bike lanes

·         Belgian block curbing

·         A storm sewer drainage system including inlets and piping

·         A 6-foot wide paved sidewalk on the southern side of the roadway, connecting to the existing walkway to the east

·        Tree planting in Princeton open space to mitigate for tree removals along the roadway. This work will be completed under the Cherry Run Riparian Zone Mitigation Tree Planting project by The Dawson Corporation.

The roadway project has been awarded to S. Brothers and is anticipated to begin in November 2018.
