Municipal Offices are closed to the public and will remain closed until further notice.
In the interest of keeping our staff and community safe we have closed the municipal offices to the public until further notice. You can reach departments on the phone or by completing the contact us form on the website.
Many of our departments offer online forms or printable PDF's. Please visit the departments page for the list of forms available and for contact email addresses.
There are drop boxes available at both Witherspoon Hall and Monument Hall. The box for the Witherspoon Hall offices is located in the lobby of the Police Department, 1 Valley Road. Correspondence for Engineering, Building, Finance, Tax Collection, Court, Clerk's, Historic Preservation and Zoning may be placed in the box.
The box for the Monument Hall offices is located near the rear of the building, next to the door for the Corner House entrance. Correspondence for Fire Safety, Human Services, Health, Sewer, Rental Housing and Public Works may be placed in the box.
Brush and Leaf Collection
Our Public Works Department is collecting the brush and leaves as scheduled. We have smaller crews working so please be patient with us if your items are not collected the week they are scheduled to be. If your items have not been collected when scheduled, please report that online using the Report a Problem option at the bottom of the page.
The Joseph H. Maher, Jr. Ecological Center, 3701 Princeton Pike, Lawrence Township, NJ 08648, is open Monday-Friday 7:30am-2:30pm. It will remain closed on Saturdays until further notice.
All municipal court sessions are now being held virtually and with court-appointed forms. No one will be admitted into the municipal building for court until further notice. If you have a court matter please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Email is the most efficient way to reach the Princeton Municipal Court at this time. If you do not have email, you may call the Municipal Court at 609-924-5042 or leave a voice message for the Municipal Court through Access Princeton 609-924-4141. Thank you.

Please submit Zoning applications through the mail, overnight delivery or they can be dropped in the box at the Police Department, 1 Valley Road. If mailing, they should be sent to Princeton Zoning Department, 400 Witherspoon St, Princeton, NJ 08540.
If you need to report a non-emergent issue in town, such as a pothole, missed trash, etc. please use the Report a Problem option on our website.
