Cherry Valley Road Construction
Construction activities continue on Cherry Valley Road. The roadway remains closed to through traffic 24 hours per day including evenings and weekends.Access for services and residents within the construction limits shall be maintained at all times during the closure. Please follow posted detours.
On Monday May 20, 2019:
Cherry Hill Road (north) will be closed between Georgetown-Franklin Turnpike (CR 518) and Cherry Valley Road from 9 AM to 3 PM. ALL NORTH-SOUTH TRAFFIC THROUGH THE INTERSECTION WILL BE PROHIBITED. Traffic to Cherry Hill Road (North) shall use the CR 518 /Great Road (CR 601) / Ridgeview Road detour route during work hours.
Tuesday, May 21, 2019 thru Friday May 24, 2019:
Cherry Valley Road will remain closed between Mountain View Road and the intersection of Cherry Hill Road (north). Residents of Cherry Valley Road within the work area will have access to their properties from Great Road. The following construction activity will be occurring:
- Installation of the retaining wall at the northwest corner of the Cherry Valley Road / Cherry Hill Road (north) intersection. Weather permitting, it is anticipated that this work shall be completed on Friday, May 24, 2019. At the end of each work day, the work area on Cherry Valley Road shall be restored to a passable condition and reopened.
Please be advised that Cherry Valley Road remains closed to through traffic 24/7 in the work zone. Montgomery Police are enforcing this closure. Access for services and residents within the construction limits shall be maintained at all times during the closure.
