2nd Quarter 2020 taxes are due May 1st-Grace period extended to June 1, 2020

Your 2nd Quarter 2020 taxes are due May 1st with a grace period until June 1, 2020

Just a reminder 2nd quarter 2020 taxes are due May 1, 2020. Governor Murphy has granted municipalities the ability to extend the grace period to June 1, 2020. Mayor and Council passed a resolution which extends the grace period until June 1, 2020. Payment must be received by June 1, 2020 to avoid interest charges. If payment is received after June 1, 2020 the interest calculates from the due date of May 1, 2020.

At this time the municipal building is closed to the public due to COVID-19 and we are asking that you make payments online, for your safety and ours. Please click this link or the "Pay your taxes online" button at the top of the page. There is no fee when paying online with your checking account or a 2.65% fee if you pay online with a credit card.

If you must mail your tax payment in, please mail to: Tax Collector, 400 Witherspoon St., Princeton, NJ 08540 and make checks payable to "Princeton". You may also drop off your payment in the drop-box located in the Police Department lobby, 1 Valley Road. Please include your property information with your payment. If you would like a receipt, include a self-addressed stamped envelope with payment.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience during these uncertain times. Be well and be safe!
