The Mercer County Nutrition Project for Older Adults offers appetizing meals that are served in settings that bring people together for activities and social interaction, important aspects of everyone's lives. The program is open to anyone 60 years old or older or anyone married to someone 60 or older. This federally funded program encourages participants to make a suggested donation of $1 for their daily meal. The COVID-19 situation has caused the Nutrition Project to change its operations. Without access to any of the buildings for meal preparation, we have established grab-and-go stations at most of the municipal sites listed below. Those who have participated in the former congregate settings may now drive to their center to pick up a frozen meal on a Monday-through-Friday basis. Special arrangements have been made for those who do not drive. Participants may still register for the program by calling 609-989-6650 or emailing adrc@mercercounty.org.
