PSE&G Tree Trimming to Begin in January

PSE&G will begin its 4 year cyclical tree trimming and removal work along their overhead utility lines in mid-January; the work is anticipated to continue into the spring.  PSE&G has contracted with Nelson Tree Service to complete the work which will involve routine tree trimming, removal of hazard trees, dead trees and any tree that may threaten any poles, wires or apparatus owned/associated with PSE&G.

In addition, PSE&G will be removing certain trees along Mount Lucas Road between Herrontown Road and Princeton Avenue.  The removal of these trees is necessitated due to recent vegetation management rule changes which is mandated by the Federal Government.  More information is also available on their website at www.pseg.com/treetrim.  Residents along Mount Lucas Road that will be affected by this work will receive notification from PSE&G prior to the work being done.
