Our Mission 
To preserve, promote and improve the health and well-being of the people, wildlife and environment of Princeton

The Health Department conducts inspections of restaurants, pools, and other facilities to ensure proper sanitation, and investigates public health nuisance complaints such as trash or rodents. It also issues birth, death and marriage licenses, provides health clinics for children, and health promotion programs for all ages.

No out of pocket costs are associated with the flu vaccine if you are covered by the following insurances: Medicare-Part B, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Horizon Federal, United Healthcare Insurance Co., Horizon NJ Direct, Independent Blue Cross/Keystone Health, AmeriHealth, Tricare, Aetna or Cigna. Anyone covered by a different health insurance can contact the Princeton Health Department to determine eligibility or cross reference the attachment above “Qualifying Health Insurance Companies.”
